What I’m about

Most of my career has been spent in financial services and the public sector: complex products, cautious organisations, high stakes for the people using them.

The work I find most interesting is the bit before the brief. Understanding what's actually wrong. Aligning the people who need to agree before anything moves. That's where I've spent a lot of my career, and it's what I'm best at.

I've grown a UCD practice inside a major financial services firm, led multi-brand design systems across 16+ product teams, and set accessibility standards that became company policy. I've pushed back on briefs when the evidence said the problem was somewhere else entirely, and changed direction before the wrong thing got built.

I work best where the design function shapes what gets built, not just how it looks.
